With the ability to tension the screen around the drum, operators can add rigidity to the screens. This design allows the use of smaller gauge wire, ultimately increasing the open area of the screen to help improve productivity.
Operators can control the machine through either the Vermeer DP10 display mounted on the control panel, or through a handheld transceiver remote. From either control, the operator can choose from four programmable presets or adjust machine settings based on incoming material.
A set of dual-hinged doors on both sides of the machine expose the full length of the trommel drum for ground level service and removal.
A hydraulic-driven chain drive system allows the drum to be lifted off the cog for service, and bolt-on sprockets can be changed quickly to help lower repair time.
The TR5300 features a large, low-feed hopper that makes it easier to load with a loading ramp, making the trommel screen more mobile around the jobsite.
